Welcome to Glasgow Community Justice Authority

Glasgow Community Justice Authority (GCJA) is a partnership organisation responsible for reducing re-offending and creating safer communities.  We are responsible for delivering the National Strategy for the Management of Offenders in Glasgow.

We aim to reduce re-offending by 2% by 2011 as well as improving outcomes for communities, offenders and the criminal justice system.

To do this we have established a strong partnership across the city with those agencies who deliver high quality services that reduce the risk posed by offenders and to reduce their re-offending.

We want communities to be confident that we are managing the risks posed by individuals in our communities and are making Glasgow safer by working better together.

On this site you will be able to find out who we are and what we do about offending in Glasgow.  There are useful publications and links and information on services.  You can also contact us
