Who We Are

The Glasgow Community Justice Authority boundary covers the same area as the Glasgow City Council boundary. Local Authority Councillors are full members of the CJA and Glasgow has seven Board Members chaired by the convener, Councillor John McKenzie.

The CJA meets 4 times per year at the City Chambers and these Board Meetings are open to the public. There are a range of statutory Partners that work with the CJA as well as a range of Other Services.

CJAs were established in April 2006, and went ‘live’ in April 2007.

Glasgow is one of 8 CJAs in Scotland.  Links to the others are provided below.

All Chief Officers meet on a 6 weekly basis and work together on matters of common interest.

Glasgow CJA is supported by a small support team led by the CJA Chief Officer.  To contact Glasgow CJA email us at CommunityJusticeAuthority@glasgow.gov.uk
