The CJA is committed to the principles of the Scottish Government's Strategy for Victims. This set out three key objectives:
- Better access to information
- Increased support
- Greater participation in the criminal justice system
We work with Victim Support Scotland who are one of our statutory partners. We have local actions relating to work for victims in our area plan and nationally South West Scotland CJA leads co-ordinated work on victim issues.
