GCJA Area Plan 2011-14 FINAL
Glasgow Area Plan Workshop - 4 December 2009
Key partner agencies in Glasgow met to discuss and agree local objectives and outcomes under each of the 4 strategic areas.
Councillor Stephen Curran introduced the day and spoke about how he has seen relationships develop over the last three years between partners to achieve better outcomes for communities. He highlighted the importance of making the work done to protect communities and rehabilitate offenders more visible to the public so they understand and support the decisions we make. He concluded by asking that 'you take the opportunity that today provides to identify what developments you would like to see to tackle offending in the city and how you and your organisation as part of the CJA can contribute to doing that.'
The day featured a number of presentations and discussion and a draft outline of this will be available shortly. Following the event, a draft area plan will be prepared and sent out widely for feedback.
The presentations are available on this page and we will update it as we develop the plan.
